Humane Society Survivor Story: Faye the Dog
This is a beautiful story of survival, love and amazing volunteers.
What struck me was, after everything, Faye still loves people….dogs have an amazing power to forgive.
Keeping in the puppy-spirit, here are my two snuggly, rescued Pit Bulls (for those of you who don’t know, Petey from the Little Rascals and the dog in FlashDance were Pits, too).

WTF is wrong with some people. How could anyone do something like that to a dog?
Thankfully they rescued her.
That’s just horrible. Awful! That dog is still SO SWEET! I love that she’s been saved from those scumbags — thank god.
Oh my gosh. I cried watching this–at work.
How can people do that to innocent animals? It just makes me so sad.
Oh, dear. I’ll have to watch this in private, because I’m reasonably certain I’m going to bawl my eyeballs out.

John and Susan – I have no idea how people can do this sort of thing, either. It’s despicable.
Only a complete piece of crap does this to any living thing. Hope they caught the douche.

I’m not an animal-lover in any means. I won’t be joining the PETA ever. But even this story wrenched my heart. Animals are not there for us to bully them and kick them around to our own perverse enjoyment! OMg.
I have to be honest and admit that I didn’t watch Faye’s story yet but I will. Just wanted to say that pit bulls are lovely – my parents have one and my brother has two and they are all sweet, sweet dogs. I hate the bad rap that they have and I hate the reason that they have the bad rap even worse.
